STEPHEN GREEN LECTURE

An illustrated lecture on the history of cricket and Lords Cricket Ground in particular was the topic on offer from Stephen Green, curator of the MCC Museum and Librarian of Lords Cricket Club. An unusual choice perhaps for the Towneley Hall Society, this lecture allowed guests to discover a new historic topic.
Towneley Hall Society members and their guests enjoyed the evening in the beautiful Regency Room of Towneley Hall, the evening being happily rounded off with a fine buffet, complementary wine and good company.
